Two men were killed in a car accident in Beost, Ossau Valley, on Saturday, July 9, at 5 a.m. Their car crashed into a ravine about 70 meters deep at the Bazen tunnels. They were both ejected. Two firefighters were killed in an accident in Arrens-Marsous. This town is located in the Hautes-Pyrenees, but it borders Beost. The Dispatch reports that the two men were also breeders at the age of 25 and 35.
The operations were led by the Perilous Environment Reconnaissance and Intervention Group of Pyrenees-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrenees. They also used a drone and the Choucas 65 Gendarmerie helicopter. It was finished by the early hours of the morning.
