After the deaths of a man, and woman, at their Domagne home in Ille-et-Vilaine during their separation, an investigation was launched to determine the cause of death. We learned this Saturday from Rennes' parquet floor.
"The bodies were discovered Friday afternoon by the gendarmes that had been alerted by Madame's employer," stated Rennes Philippe, the public prosecutor. This confirms information from Ouest-France.
"If the initial forensic findings suggest that Mr. committed suicide, the causes of Mrs.'s death remain at this stage unsolved," said the prosecutor, adding that there was "no obvious trace of intervention from outside".
Monday will see autopsies. The man was born in 1970, and the woman in 1971. According to the same source, the couple had three children. Two of them were minors.
In January, the deceased woman filed a petition to the family court judge relating to parental power (unmarried parents). Two hearings took place in April and June. The Vitre Research Brigade (BR) was assigned the investigation.
