He was enjoying a mild evening on the terrace at a cafe in Bordeaux's Meriadeck district when "a few intimidating persons" appeared. Pierre Le Camus (departmental head Youth with Marine, RN candidate in last legislative elections in Gironde's 2nd constituency) says: "I was with my brothers and a few of our friends when they fell upon us."
These people would have raced to the table if they heard the words "we know you", or "we know who your are". He thought he had counted forty. According to the police, they were called for assistance by thirty attackers. Some had their faces covered, others didn't. The victim commented that they were wearing black clothes, and not Sunday evening outing attire.

"It's a punitive expedition", summarizes Pierre Le Camus. "I was targeted and recognized for my membership to the RN. People who make amalgams. The terrace was visible for quite some time. They have plenty of time to organize."
Pierre Le Camus recalls that there was a logic to their comments, they used political slogans in the air and shouted "it's for Saint-Michel." This refers to the events of the night of June 24-25, for which an investigation remains ongoing.
Pierre Le Camus says that some customers sought refuge at the bar because they didn't have enough time. He has been repeatedly insulted about his political views and his position, but never attacked. The young man tried to fight back, but was repeatedly punched and kicked. The small group of his friends didn't measure up.
It was quick. The attackers fled as fast as they came, almost like a tsunami. Pierre Le Camus explains that the police were notified of the attack and had arrived.
The injured were attended to by firefighters. He walks away "damaged", with bruises all over his face. His brother was also on the ground. "He said he felt more than just punching or kicking. He is now completely incapacitated from work after sustaining a broken nose. He plans to quickly file a complaint against the young politician who has denounced "a variable geometry indignation by local politicians".
