Abzac, Friday, 9:50 am, saw a collision between a truck and a car. Both vehicles were travelling on N1089 at the time of the accident. The driver, aged 57, sustained serious injuries and was saved by firefighters and a Smur team before being evacuated to the CHU. A child aged 8 was a passenger in the vehicle. He sustained minor injuries. After the collision, the driver of the truck fled. Later, he was taken into custody by police.
