Gironde: A sorting point was inaugurated in Saint-Loubes' city center

Officials from Semoctom inaugurated the reinforced sorting station on Wednesday, 29 June, just behind the Hector-Ducamp school, opposite the town hall.

Both the municipality and the union have proposed a more accessible organization to address the problem of garbage collection in the city centre. The director, Elodie Bittard and the vice-presidents Pascal Labro, Pierre Buisseret and Celine Bagolle presented the new sorting point and gave details to the residents. This project was launched last year with the help of an agent from Loubesiens, who gave the required information and handed out the access cards.

There are four large terminals measuring 4m3 each for cardboard, paper, packaging, and non-recoverable waste. Another 3m3 is for glass. Individual or professional bins can still be collected up to the end of July. Information will be attached to the container to inform of their removal. All bins will be taken away after this date and all waste will be placed at the new sorting station, which is open 24 hours a days, 7 days a semaine.
