The Portuguese were energized by the goals of Diana Gomes (58th), and Jessica Silva (66th). In the first half, Switzerland was ahead thanks to Coumba Sow (2nd), and Rahel Kiwic (5th).
The match ended indecisively with both teams hitting their opponent's posts once each during the final ten minutes.
