Gironde: Volunteers are needed for the Food Bank's summer program

The Gironde Food Bank will organize four weekly food distributions in Begles, Pessac and Bordeaux starting July 19. It is usually the 125 partner organizations who handle it. However, during summer holidays, the Food Bank members take over the responsibility.

Problem: There is a shortage of volunteers, especially drivers who can organize collections and deliver food to distribution sites. The association is looking for drivers who are willing to help others. Distributions are held on Tuesdays and Fridays at Bordeaux, Begles and Pessac.
