It's back! The adorable village of Couthures-sur-Garonne, its inhabitants who are just as willing and motivated as ever, its mayor, the indefatigable and earthy Jean-Michel Moreau, the standard-bearer of this amazing local enthusiasm, its organizers (the Le Monde group), descended de Paris journalists and guests in their luggage, are preparing to host the sixth edition of the International Journalism Festival.
The principle remains the same. The SU Agenais calls it "The Fundamentals". It is a delicious cocktail of round tables and meetings, debates and exhibitions, as well as document screenings and concerts. This forum lasts three days and includes two scheduled appointments. You can also enjoy a dip in the Garonne (supervised beach), a snack at the river (quality, friendly gastronomic village), and/or a rest under a tree. We cultivate ourselves there. We enrich ourselves there. And we have a lot of fun doing it.
This edition was sponsored by Charline Vanhoenacker, journalist and humorist. It featured seven themes and dozens of guests. Topics directly related to journalism ("Is objectivity really the goal?" etc.) Hot or cold news ("The ecological transition to the challenge inequalities", "Does it still make sense to have children?" The festival's editorial partner, Sud Ouest, will organize its "Apero" every day at 11:30 a.m. at La Prairie, on both banks of the Garonne. You will be able to try a glass of Cotes du Marmandais for free, whether it is white, red, or rose. However, you must have deserved it.
