Agen: A competition of tasters at Food and Gastronomy Festival

Francois Germon is the development manager at Agrotec's agro-food tech center in Agen. Agrotec organizes tastings almost every day on Agen.

Saturday, July 9, from 3:30 to 5:30 pm, Agrotec invites you to taste their products. Francois Germon explains that the program consists of 15-minute sessions for people to test their taste buds and sense of smell.

"Scent recognition can also be achieved with essential oils. We offer tastings of Agropole products, including plant-based desserts. It is important to identify as many ingredients as possible. The winner will receive a 50 euro gift card that can be used in many brands. The contest is limited to 50 participants due to the limited supply of samples.

The Food and Gastronomy Festival also offers a competition. David Gallienne, winner season 11 of Top Chef will be visiting to "show cooking" Stephane Carrade, two-starred chef, who promotes sustainable gastronomy and creates a space for gourmet food.

The festival returns with a series conference and round table sessions, focusing on Agen prunes, organic products, short circuits and other short circuits. But also, there will be discussions about the food of tomorrow with microalgae and insects.

Admission is free
