Jacqueline Laforgue is back from Bazad with her novel about Michel Bathelet's investigation: "The Surgeon", published in Editions la societe des Ecrivains.

Jacqueline, after a career spent working as a notary public, decided to take advantage of her retirement and start writing. It was November 2012 that his hero, Michel Bathelet made his first appearance in "November 12, 1972", a detective novel. The plot of "Linda", which was set on the "Research Section" set, sees him return in "Linda".

Michel Bathelet will continue his research in "Oncle Henri", in 2016, after "Laurette’s dreams of grandeur", which was published in 2014. It will be temporarily put aside by the author to allow him to concentrate on a collection of short stories called "Secret Lives", which Siska, an all-seeing canine, tells.

Michel Bathelet is back this year. He will face burglaries, assassinations and kidnappings along with Jacky Lesage and Major Pillon. Until he finds himself in the middle or organized crime crossing Jus de brique and Jojo la Guitare.

Jacqueline Laforgue invites readers to a signing session at Super U in Bazas on Saturday, July 16.
